Youth Board Member

Happy Hollow Foundation is proud to have a Youth Board Member serve on our Board of Directors to provide an important voice and perspective in our work to support Happy Hollow Park & Zoo.

This position is open to incoming junior or senior high school students who want to be a passionate advocate for Happy Hollow Foundation and Happy Hollow Park & Zoo.

Youth Board Members serve for one year from July 1-June 30 and attend monthly board meetings as a non-voting member and complete one special project. Youth Board Members are active participants in choosing their special project and are supported by Happy Hollow Foundation and Happy Hollow Park & Zoo staff throughout the duration of the project development. Past Youth Board Members have completed a variety of projects, including The Waggle Dance exhibit, a social media campaign and an educational booklet.
