This collective of wildlife professionals encourages increased capacity through research, training and exchange among conservationists. They believe the recovery of Neo-tropical parrot species across their ranges is only possible when forward thinking individuals and organizations come together to push the boundaries of conservation. Visit their WebsiteWith the Pan-African population of painted dogs declining from 500,000 individuals to less than 5,000, the painted dog is listed by IUCN as endangered. Zimbabwe links the populations of all five neighboring countries, making it a keystone corridor for this species. Continuation of long-term research and monitoring within this corridor is crucial to the continued survival of painted dogs. The project funded by Happy Hollow aims to reduce roadkill incidents along this wildlife corridor using camera traps and an app.
