New pricing. Memberships, general admission and more!

Beginning Wednesday, Feb. 12, Happy Hollow Park & Zoo is introducing new annual membership options and ticket prices.  

Memberships provide unlimited year-round access to Happy Hollow during normal days of operation. Discounted Student (ages 14 and up) and Senior memberships (ages 60 and up) are among the new offerings, along with an Individual Plus option includes an annual Parking Pass. The new Community package will include four memberships and additional in-park discounts. Donor memberships in partnership with Happy Hollow Foundation are also an exciting new offering for the park and zoo. Danny the Dragon’s Dreambuilders enjoy unique benefits, including memberships, day passes, special event invitations, exclusive exhibit previews and behind-the-scenes access. 

“We have a strong membership program with nearly 30,000 members,” says Membership Coordinator, Samantha Camacho. “Memberships are a fantastic value, and include a wide range of benefits, including discounts, special members–only days and deals, as well as discounted admission to other zoos and aquariums. Our new Individual Plus and Community packages will also offer discounts for guests of members, which is a great perk for those who want to bring friends on their visit.”  

With the new member packages and admission rates, Happy Hollow will also put more focus into serving local community members. A portion of every admission ticket will go towards an Access for All program, allowing reduced admission to Happy Hollow for families with financial and special needs.   

“We are providing more equal access to play,” says Assistant General Manager, Kiersten McCormick. “We want everyone to have the opportunity to experience Happy Hollow. Especially those living right here in our neighborhood.”

Along with the new Access program, a portion of every membership and ticket will continue sponsoring local and global wildlife conservation organizations and initiatives.  

“As the 60th anniversary of the park and zoo approaches in 2021, we are pleased to continue providing new and exciting experiences for guests, while maintaining top care for our animals,” says Zoo Manager, Kevin Hertell.  

“Our team is extremely excited about what’s to come.” says General Manager Shannon Heimer.  “With new attractions in the works, and several facility enhancements in progress, there are some awesome things happening here at Happy Hollow. This also includes new animal habitats and bringing in more threatened, rescued, and endangered animals that need our support at the zoo.”

• Member Mornings (Early admission and special programming every second Saturday) 
• Best Friends Free Day (Members can bring a friend for free every second Wednesday) 
• Half Price Day (Half-off admission every third Tuesday)  
• Senior Safari (Free admission and parking for ages 50-plus from 9 to 10 a.m. every fourth Thursday. (Made possible through partnership with Happy Hollow Foundation.)
