Santa’s 2020 Naughty & Nice List

December 16, 2020

The Zookeepers at Happy Hollow finished our 2020 Naughty and Nice list to send to Santa, and this year almost everyone made the cut!

The Nice List:

The red pandas

They always wear their masks wherever they go.

Loka and Koa the black and white ruffed lemurs

They’re spending the holidays with only members of their household and playing nicely together in their habitat.

Roni the fossa

It helps to be solitary by nature. Roni always keeps her social distance.

Danny the Dragon

Danny is staying close to home over the holidays.

The Parma wallabies

They’ve been eating their greens!

Meenie the capybara

He has been bathing regularly and maintaining good hygiene.

Sophia the jaguar

Sophia has been staying active and enjoying lots of fresh air.

Lucille, the ball python

She’s been helping children with their distance learning.

Bayou, the American alligator

He’s been getting plenty of sleep. (Okay, so it might have something to do with the fact that he’s in brumation, but good for him!)

The macaws

Because they call their friends often to check in.

We can learn a lot from the animals at Happy Hollow! Let’s follow their lead and help prevent the spread of COVID-19 by staying home, avoiding gatherings and practicing social distancing with those outside our households.

And finally…

The Naughty List:

The goat herd
