Virtual Pumpkin Decorating Contest

Happy Hollow Park & Zoo invites YOU to participate in a Virtual Pumpkin Decorating Contest!

Happy Hollow-themed entries are encouraged.

The pumpkin that gets the most votes online will receive a prize for the following categories:

• Youth: 17 and under
• Adult: 18+

How to submit:

• Email your submission to [email protected]
• Subject: Pumpkin Decorating Contest
• Please include the name, age (18+ can submit “Adult”) and phone number of the pumpkin creator when submitting your photo.
• Deadline to submit has been extended to 5 p.m. on Sunday, October 25.

Rules:

• Must be original—you can paint, carve, draw, etc. as long as it is your own work.
• Designs must be family-friendly and appropriate for all ages.
• 1 entry per person.
• Parents are responsible for supervising youth during the pumpkin carving/painting/decorating process.
• Participants agree to allow pumpkin pictures to be featured on Happy Hollow Park & Zoo’s social media.

Selection Process & Prizes:

• Voting will be done via the Happy Hollow Park & Zoo Facebook page during the week of October 25.
• Votes must be submitted by noon on Friday, October 30.
• Winners will be announced on Facebook on Saturday, October 31 at noon.
• The winning pumpkins (the most votes for each age group) will receive a Happy Hollow Park & Zoo themed gift basket.
• All Happy Hollow themed entries are eligible to receive a prize, which must be picked up in person at Happy Hollow Park & Zoo. Participants will be notified of the available pick-up dates, times and instructions.
