We've looked to our animals for some tips to share on getting through COVID-19 and here’s what we think they’re trying to teach us.

On March, 13, 2020 by order of Santa Clara County Public Health, all events and public gatherings of 100 people shall be cancelled or closed to help slow the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19.) With this directive, Happy Hollow Park & Zoo will be temporarily closed to the public, effective immediately.

Beginning Wednesday, Feb. 12, Happy Hollow Park & Zoo is introducing new annual membership options and ticket prices.

It’s that time of year, when black-and-white ruffed lemurs begin their courtship.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Makiki, one of Happy Hollow’s adult female Parma wallabies. Happy Hollow is lauded for being the most successful zoo for the breeding of the Parma wallaby species. Since 1994, twenty-eight Parma wallabies have been born at Happy Hollow. During her time at the Zoo, Makiki gave birth to three joeys.

As the holidays near, the Happy Hollow keepers are helping Santa double-check his "naughty and nice list" by updating his elves on all of the animals.

Happy Hollow has new camps and classes for children and adults to embrace their wild side during the winter months and immerse themselves in environmental and conservation learning. Registration is now open and all education offerings can be viewed online.

Happy Hollow Park & Zoo is pleased to announce another birth and conservation success for the Parma wallaby species.

Starting on Oct. 29 through the end of November, Happy Hollow will offer free admission to current fire victims, evacuees, and first responders helping with the recent fires across California.
