Danny the Dragon's Dreambuilders

When you make a gift of $1,000 or more, you automatically become a Danny the Dragon’s Dreambuilder! This is a special donor recognition level. Dreambuilders also have the option to receive unique benefits at every level such as Happy Hollow memberships, day passes and parking passes which may impact the tax-deductibility of a gift. Gifts made through donor advised funds are not eligible to receive more than incidental benefits.

Levels and Benefits


All Dreambuilders receive incidental benefits which include: Recognition in the Annual Report, listing on the donor wall in the Entry Plaza of Happy Hollow, access to special news and invitations to events. 

Dreambuilders may also elect to take additional benefits that will impact the tax-deductibility of a gift and vary by level including: membership cards and parking pass, free guest passes, discounts on certain purchases and more. Grants given through donor advised funds are only eligible to receive incidental benefits.

Optional benefits for: $1,000 to $2,499 

  • Up to four individual memberships, valid for one year
  • Two day passes for Dreambuilder guests
  • Invitations to an exclusive annual Dreambuilder event, exhibit previews and more
  • Recognition on the Entry Plaza donor board, website and annual report
  • Parking pass for lot at 748 Story Road.
  • Goods & services fair market value = $336
  • Gifts made through donor advised funds are not eligible to receive more than incidental benefits.

Optional benefits for: $2,500 to $9,999

  • Up to six individual memberships, valid for one year
  • Four day passes for Dreambuilder guests
  • Invitations to an exclusive annual Dreambuilder event, exhibit previews and more
  • Recognition on the Entry Plaza donor board, website and annual report
  • Parking pass for lot at 748 Story Road.
  • Goods & services fair market value = $472
  • Gifts made through donor advised funds are not eligible to receive more than incidental benefits.

Optional benefits for: $10,000 to $19,999

  • Up to eight individual memberships, valid for one year
  • Six day passes for Dreambuilder guests
  • Invitations to an exclusive annual Dreambuilder event, exhibit previews and more
  • Recognition on the Entry Plaza donor board, website and annual report
  • Parking pass for lot at 748 Story Road.
  • Goods & services fair market value = $608
  • Gifts made through donor advised funds are not eligible to receive more than incidental benefits.

Optional benefits for: $20,000 and above

  • Up to ten individual memberships, valid for one year
  • Eight day passes for Dreambuilder guests
  • Invitations to an exclusive annual Dreambuilder event, exhibit previews and more
  • Recognition on the Entry Plaza donor board, website and annual report
  • Parking pass for lot at 748 Story Road.
  • Private lunch and tour
  • Goods & services fair market value = $744
  • Gifts made through donor advised funds are not eligible to receive more than incidental benefits.

"Being a Dreambuilder is just what the name implies. When my daughter (who’s now in her forties with little ones of her own) was little, Happy Hollow was a simple pleasure for us. It has come a long way since then, but I have enjoyed sharing the park and zoo with my grandchildren. Happy Hollow inspires generational traditions.
