Humanitarian and Biodiversity Conservation Society’s Asian Elephant Project

Humanitarian and Biodiversity Conservation Society is a non-profit, non-governmental organization. They are registered at District Administrative Office, Chitwan, Nepal and Social Welfare Council, Kathmandu, Nepal in 2022. The project funded by Happy Hollow supports their study to assess and map out human elephant conflict status, mitigation program, awareness program of elephant conservation and conduct capacity building program. The project can improve the positive thought about Elephant and raise community awareness for their conservation.

Pit Track K9

Pit-Track is a well-trained and specialized K9 Anti-Poaching Unit. Deployed in various high-risk key areas on the protection of endangered species and has a belief that there is strength in unity. The project funded by Happy Hollow supports their initiatives aimed at protecting wildlife, including lions, pangolins, and rhinos, as well as to aid in the detection of contraband and illegal trafficking of wildlife products throughout South Africa.

Macaw Recovery Network

The Macaw Recovery Network brings together organizations that are passionate about parrot conservation and interested in the development and sharing of practical knowledge. This collective of wildlife professionals encourages increased capacity through research, training and exchange among conservationists. They believe the recovery of Neo-tropical parrot species across their ranges is only possible when forward thinking individuals and organizations come together to push the boundaries of conservation. This grant from Happy Hollow has provided funding for salaries in the Women Rangers program.

Ewaso Lions

Ewaso Lions is dedicated to conserving lions and other large carnivores by promoting coexistence between people and wildlife. They are an independent 100% African wildlife conservation organization in Kenya which engages and builds the capacity of key demographic groups by developing approaches to reduce human-carnivore conflict. The grant from Happy Hollow is helping raise awareness of ecological problems to spur solutions from within our communities, conduct research and educational initiatives that reinforce traditionally held beliefs and the evolving culture of wildlife conservation across the landscape.
