Happy Hollow closed until further notice due to unhealthy air quality

Happy Hollow Park & Zoo will remain closed until air quality has improved. Our hearts go out to those affected by the devastating wildfires, and we are continuing to monitor current conditions. While we are eager to open back up to the public, the health and safety of our guests, animals, and staff are always our top priority.

Veterans special postponed

All outdoor programming is currently cancelled, but we remain committed to honoring our free Veterans Weekend special offer at a later date. We will post an update regarding timing as soon as we can.

Keeping our animals safe

Our staff is committed to doing everything we can to keep our animals healthy and safe each and every day. During poor air quality, our outdoor animals have access to their night houses, and staff continues to monitor for any signs of discomfort. Modifications to our normal enrichment include providing stimuli that does not cause the animals to overexert themselves. Our goal is to keep our animals mentally stimulated to keep them calm and comfortable as we wait for air quality to improve.

Thank you for your continued support! We look forward to your next adventure at Happy Hollow Park & Zoo.
