Happy Hollow Park & Zoo is proud to support Virunga National Park and the Fallen Rangers Fund through our Quarters for Conservation, Beekeeping & Beyond Workshops, and Gorilla Honey sales.

In 2010, there were less than 800 mountain gorillas left in the world. Thanks to the amazing efforts of rangers at Virunga National Park, there are now over 1,000. The park rangers risk their lives on a daily basis to protect the endangered wildlife and habitats within the park, as well as the people living around the park boundary.

Although it has been a challenging year for Virunga, the health of the Park’s mountain gorillas is testament to the contribution the rangers have made to the conservation of the species. If you would like to help support them, please consider making a donation today.
